On Wednesday 27th November, Chichester High School (CHS) travelled to Bishop Luffa for the West Sussex Senior Cross-Country Championships with 33 students. Despite the cold weather, everyone behaved well and worked hard.
The Junior Year 8 and 9 boys raced against over 125 participants. Albie Dormer finished 5th and Rhodri Miller came in 8th, showcasing great effort throughout the muddy course. The Year 8 and 9 girls also faced 125 participants, with Mia Hollands finishing 6th and Gabi Lush 12th, demonstrating determination under tough conditions.
In the Senior Boys' race, Year 10 showed resilience, with Yaseen Saoud placing 12th and Will Stone 14th. The Senior Girls' race featured fewer participants but was competitive. Louisa Fenmor-Collins finished 9th, while Molly Smithers won 1st place with an impressive run.
The afternoon concluded with the Inter Boys' race, where Digby Fulford excelled. A huge congratulations to all CHS participants for their resilience and determination! Miss Watson and Mr. Tucker were impressed with everyone's performance. Well done, everyone!
