Mr Tom Ritchie

Having graduated Bath University in Sports and Exercise Science in 2012 and my PGCE from Chichester University in 2013, I started my career in PE. However, a year later I transitioned into Geography as I found classroom teaching and a love for the outdoors my main passions. I soon became Key Stage 3 lead and then Head of department, where I supported a number of colleagues and other departments with teaching pedagogy and school improvement.

In my spare time I try and play golf to a handicap of 3, find opportunities to go to the gym and enjoy spending days out with my young family.

My role as Assistant Head Teacher at Chichester High School is within teaching and learning. I am responsible for improving the consistency and quality of teaching across the school as well as overseeing the literacy program.
