During Anti-Bullying Week this week at Chichester High School, we celebrated BBC Children in Need too with a wonderful afternoon full of excitement and kindness. The children came to school in non-uniform and helped raise money through donations, showing their support for others in need. We also hosted our own charity fair, where the children enjoyed fun activities while contributing to a great cause. Their enthusiasm and generosity made the event truly special, and it was a joyful reminder of the power of coming together to help others. We are delighted to share that the children have helped raise a fabulous amount of money, which will be revealed on Monday! #WeTHRIVEatCHS TKAT - The Kemnal Academies Trust

Real-World Learning That Broadens Understanding Our Key Stage 4 students recently took part in an exceptional learning experience with a visit to the Brighton Reform Synagogue. The trip was truly outstanding - thoroughly engaging, enjoyable, and rich in educational value. Students were able to deepen their understanding of key Religious Studies concepts by seeing them in practice within a real community setting. This first-hand experience not only broadened their knowledge but will also play a significant role in helping them apply what they’ve learnt directly to their GCSE exams. At our school, we are committed to offering opportunities that take learning beyond the classroom. Real-world experiences such as this help students develop curiosity, cultural awareness, and a stronger connection to the subjects they study. These moments inspire confidence, strengthen understanding, and encourage students to explore the world with open minds. We look forward to continuing to provide our learners with enriching opportunities that support both their academic success and their personal growth. #WeTHRIVEatCHS TKAT - The Kemnal Academies Trust

Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Street Collections The recent Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal street collections, held across the city on Saturday 1 November, Sunday 2 November and Saturday 8 November, proved to be an outstanding success. Cadets from our Chichester High School CCF Unit were joined by young people from the City’s various Units, coming together in a fantastic show of teamwork, respect and community spirit. Their dedication and enthusiasm helped raise an incredible £11,040.81 over just three days. This remarkable total reflects not only the commitment of the cadets and volunteers but also the generosity of the public, who continue to support the Poppy Appeal year after year. The Royal British Legion’s work supporting serving personnel, veterans and their families remains as vital as ever, and we are proud to have played a part in this year’s efforts. Over the past couple of weeks at Forest School, the students have been busy putting their hands to work in the great outdoors. They helped assemble new garden cabinets and cleared fallen trees from the paths, making the space more inviting and safe. In between these tasks, they let their creativity run wild by building shelters. One group crafted a cozy little living area, complete with seats, a small table, and even a Christmas tree topped with a shining star. Meanwhile, another group reinforced an old wooden structure, expanding it and making it sturdier for future adventures. Lunchtime became just as special as the activities themselves. Over open fires, the students enjoyed jacket potatoes and eggy bread, all topped off with freshly popped popcorn - a delicious treat that brought everyone together in the fresh forest air. #WeTHRIVEatCHS Goodwood Education Trust

Celebrating MHFAider Day 2025! Today, 12 November, Chichester High School is proud to join @MHFAEngland in celebrating MHFAider Day - a day to recognise the incredible people who step up to support others with their mental health. Our trained Mental Health First Aiders across the Trust (MHFAiders®) play a vital role in creating safe, supportive environments across all our schools. They listen, guide, and make sure no one faces a challenge alone. THANK YOU to every CHS MHFAider for the difference you make - every conversation you have helps change lives and shape a culture where mental health matters just as much as physical health. Let’s keep the conversation going - today and every day. #MHFAiderDay #WeTHRIVEatCHS #MentalHealthMatters #oneTKATfamily
